Le magazine anglais PC Format, dans son numéro de septembre, propose une clé pour tester pendant 14 jours GW. Mais le plus intéressant est qu'il est marqué que cette clé permettra également de tester le PvE de Nightfall lors du week-end du 1 septembre !

First of all, you're correct: You do not need to own any previous Guild Wars game to play Nightfall. All our games are stand-alone games, and while there are obvious benefits to owning others, you're never obliged to do so. And you can add the others later, if you wish, as I know some who came in through Factions have done in adding Prophecies afterwards.
 
There will be a Nightfall Event, similar to our Factions Beta Weekend Events, but the date is not yet set. I'll see if I can find out more about it, but I do not believe it will take place on September 1st.
 
I think that the demos that are being given to selected publications are the 10-hour, 14-day demos for Prophecies and Factions. I do not believe that the key is for the Nightfall beta event itself. Perhaps the editor or writer was suggesting that if the demo was activated during an event, then the player would have access to the event content, too. That's a big question in my mind, and I will see if I can learn more.
