Ya quelques jours je me suis dit , que sa pourrais être bien d'y rejoué , j'ai lâcher Daoc un peu pour downloader Pristontale , à ma grande surprise mon Pikeman niveau 22 ( maintenant 24^^) était toujours la , alors j'ai recommencé à jouer!
Alors je me demandais si quelqu'un ici y jouais encore , puisque la nouvelle grosse patch arrive très bientôt , il y aura plusieurs nouveaux skins , plusieurs nouveaux monstres/ donjons / objets , etc etc , je vous donne la liste des news totale ci-dessous.
Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas Pristontale , c'est un mmorpg gratuit d'environ 400 mo au download , graphiquement plutôt joli , selon moi sa vaut la peine d'essayer !
 
1. We will get new maps.  
A) Cave of Mushroom - Includes new monsters and Req level 55 to enter  
B ) Cave of Beehive - Includes new monsters and Req level 55 to enter  
C) Dark Sanctuary - 2 Entrances located 1 in each cave. Req level 65 to  
enter. Also has new monsters.  
D) Sanctuary Floor 2 - Entrance located in back of Sanctuary Floor 1, new  
monsters, req level 70 to enter.  
 
 
2) Old maps will be updated  
A) Ricarten Town gets completely redone. Instead of a small town with a few  
houses, it is now more of a castle setting, complete with a much larger  
trade sqaure, piers with a look toward the ocean, new NPC's (I will get to  
them soon), more lively with moving props, overall double in size compared  
to the old version, and a new much cooler Statue in the entrance of town  
section.  
B ) All Grassland areas (AKA g1, g2, g3 for the veterans) get upgraded with  
completely new props (tombstones, rocks, plants, etc are called props), and  
some of the older props get updated animations. For instance the first metal  
gate at entrance to g3 actualy swings back and forth from the wind.  
C) Many of the maps now have transportation portals for easyer traveling  
between areas. (Requires Wings, which I will get to in a moment)  
D) Grasslands 2 now has a bamboo forrest which just looks awesome...  
 
 
 
3) All Skyboxes will be upgraded  
A) All skys are now ultra high resolution textures which looks incredibly  
real compared to the old skys which were blury and fuzzy looking.  
B ) Clouds in the sky move slowly over time, at night the stars rotate around  
the sky just like in real life.  
C) At sun down, you can actualy see the sun go down behind the mountains.  
D) The moon at night shines light in certain spots on the map.  
 
 
 
4) You get to have Wings  
A) You can complete a side quest that gives you wings in your inventory that  
allows you access to the transporters spread throughout the lands for super  
fast traveling. NO MORE 5k FOR DUMB NAV CORE! You can use your Wings to  
teleport to Navisko for only a 500 gold fee each trip!!  
B ) There are different wings, and each one gives you access to more places.  
They are called "Silver Wing", "Gold Wing", "Diamond Wing" etc. Each one is  
a upgrade of the last. Diamond Wing for instance allows you access to ANY  
portal, but at the cost of about 1000 gold per use. (Transporting between  
towns is ALWAYS free, and does not even require you to have the wings.)  
C) There is a NPC and Portal in Ricarten AND Phillia which will request 2  
objects and some gold from you. You must bring him these 2 objects and the  
required gold for him to give you the Wings. (Once you have the Wings they  
NEVER go away from your inventory.) I will leave the items you need to bring  
as a surprise. Unless someone posts the anwser and spoils it..lol  
 
 
 
5) Many monsters get their SKIN upgraded  
A) Hopys get 2 new SUPER CUTE skins. One skin is for boy hopys, the other  
for girl hopys. No longer does the hopys look like alive baby droppings!  
B ) All skeleton monsters get a new skin making them look DOUBLE as scary and  
menacing.  
C) The silly eye ball monster (Orbit) gets upgraded his skin AND name to  
"Ghost". He is now a semi-transparent ghost which hangs out in the graveyard  
areas and looks very cool.  
D) Plant monsters now look like crazy tree's that swip their branches at you  
and have real leaves for once.  
E) Other monster upgrades, including new skins for some of the bosses, and  
new weapons for some of the normal monsters.  
 
 
 
6) Monster Crystals upgraded to include bosses  
A) Any monster crystal has a chance to spawn a much more powerful version of  
itself in the form of a boss.  
B ) There are hidden spots in some maps where alost every monster crystal use  
will be of the boss type. (Look for moonlight on the ground at night, or  
other interesting spots)  
C) The hobgoblin boss if you get him is bigger than a bargon... And if you  
get the hopy boss, he is bigger than YOU!  
 
 
 
7) New player greeting/victory animation  
A) In chat mode, type 'Yahoo' (Without the quotes) and hit enter. Your  
character will do a victory/greeting animation that EVERYONE can see.  
Example: Fighter class and Priestesses do a very short victory dance, while  
Archers and Atalantians wave hello.  
B ) Keep pressing spacebar after your first yahoo to do your greeting without  
typing yahoo over again.  
 
 
8) You can set your character to automaticaly attack the monsters even while  
your typing to other players for you. The method for this involves holding  
SHIFT key before you click the monster to attack it. Once your character is  
attacking the monster, let go of the mouse button and SHIFT and your  
character will continue attacking that monster without your help. This is so  
you can type short messages while attacking a monster. (Works for 100%  
trained attack skills also.)  
 
 
9) SOD IS PERMENANTLY OPEN!  
A) Go to Navisko and as soon as day time hits, buy a ticket from the  
Buma/Hob Goblin NPC at the top of the stairs. (Price of ticket based on your  
level) Warning: SOD is not for the WEAK!!!  
 
 
 
10) Price Of Potions are all HALF PRICE!  
A) Mini Pots = 25 gold, Med = 75 gold, Great = 150 gold  
B ) Merchants now sell MYSTIC pots! Mystics = 300 gold each  
 
 
 
11) Sheltom drop rates INCREASED  
A) Required level for sheltom to drop is decreased such that before only  
Lucidy could normaly drop in Hopy land, and Lucidy + Sereneo in G2, now  
lucidy and sereneo can drop in hopy land, and if your lucky even a fadeo as  
the highest. THis trend continues as the map levels get higher, such that by  
the time you get to dungeon 1, TRANSPARO is no longer a super rare drop! It  
is actualy common to find atleast 3 trans if not more by the time you are  
level 4x-5x.  
 
 
 
12) Potion drop rate from monsters UPGRADED!  
A) Potions no longer drop in singles. Most of the time you get 3 potions for  
each potion you pick up! You can tell how many since now when you hover the  
mouse over potions, the words "Mini Health X3" will appear above it!  
B ) This combination of 3 pots at a time dropping, and buying pots at half  
price will make leveling up and aquiring money MUCH MUCH easyer!!

13) Amulets and Rings now come with SPECS!  
A) Amulets often come with mp +0.1 and above specs for every class!  
B ) Rings now give a HP +0.1 and above spec bonus!!  
 
 
 
14) Higher level items  
A) Currently EPT supports items all the way up to level 59. In AOR patch we  
will have items all the way up to level 69.  
B ) Combination of increased drop rates, high level items available(Devine  
sheltom!), and other factors will drive the prices of trans and equipment  
down dramaticaly. (But still nowhere near KPT economy prices.)  
 
 
 
15) Aging Items Upgrade  
A) Now when you age an item, theres a chance the item will go up 2 levels  
instead of 1 !!  
(Careful, once an item goes up by 2, the req level to use the item goes up  
by 1. If your not leveled above the new req'd level you cant use the item  
until you level.)  
B ) Items no longer have a chance to break on the 4th age. The chance of  
breaking has moved up to 5th age to make it easyer for players to get  
glowing items and at higher age levels.  
 
 
 
16) Amount Till Level Up Gauge UPGRADED!  
A) Hover the mouse over the blue gauge that shows how much till you level,  
and it now shows a percentage. Example: %53.527 Previously you would see  
something like 9743542/9840005 exp instead. Which is hard to read while in  
the heat of battle.  
B ) The percentage allows you to see QUICKLY how much each monster is helping  
you level up by checking how much higher the percent went up when you slayed  
the monster.  
 
 
 
17) Sheltoms  
A) Devines can be found. If your really lucky.  
B ) Sparkys are now sold by merchants in the towns. (8000 gold)  
 
 
 
18) Navisko Town Shops Upgrade  
A) The blacksmith has about 4 pages of items to browse to buy from. He sells  
level 44 items now.  
B ) Magician shop sells level 44 items in KPT but in TPT he does not. So im  
not sure if EPT will get this in its AOR or not.  
 
 
19) Some monsters from other areas now spawn sometimes in harder areas.  
A) In ancients there are times when a Hob Goblin or 2 might spawn. (Has  
nothing to do with a boss.) This is true in other areas as well where  
sometimes a weaker monster manages to spawn in harder maps.  
 
 
 
20) Events and Admins  
A) Theres almost always an admin online in AOR talking about various events  
going on in the game.  
B ) Sometimes you can find an admin hiding in Ricarten town, which you have  
to look for them hiding and give them quest items for certain events which  
if you get enough points for doing so, you can get actualy prizes mailed to  
your house when you submit your points in the website. (TPT players got  
teeshirts with the PT logo.)  
 
 
21) Unfair Greedy Prices Controled by High Levelers for 4x equipment fixed.  
Since items all the way up to 4x are sold in regular shops in Navisko, there  
is now a 'Set' price for everything below level 45. Therefor greedy players  
can't sell KS Blaze shields for 350k since the shield is only about 40k to  
purchase in stores. So a perfect ks blaze acceptable price would only be  
about 80k now. NOT TRANS! Of course this is for all 4x items. 5x items only  
cost 1 trans normaly in AOR for TPT. And a AS Sagi (Normaly sold for 4-5  
trans in EPT) is not that rare of a drop anymore and also is only worth 1  
trans (Clean).  
 
Note: Higher level players will most likly still insist on selling items at  
insane prices noone can afford, but over time the prices will level down as  
people realise how much easyer it is to gain money, and get good drops.  
 
 
22) Tier 3 skills will most likly NOT be in this AOR patch. Although that  
admins have not mentioned if they would or not, normaly AOR patches never  
come with Tier 3 skills. But that is ok because there will be so much more  
to see and do now, and everything will be so much easyer that you will do  
very well without them for now.  
 
 
23) New Merchants and NPC's  
A) There is now a merchant in Grasslands 3 area that sells potions and  
things just like the merchant in Land Of Dusk. (This is GREAT for those who  
need to complete the wolf quest and keep running out ot pots. Not that you  
would run out anyways with them dropping 3 at a time and B ) 2 new gaurds NPC's. 1 gaurding each entrance to the new cave maps.  
C) There is now an Events NPC in each town. (Im not sure what he is for.)  
D) All NPCs got upgraded skins and look much more awesome.  
 
24) Ok im getting tired so im stopping here.. theres new monster crystals. 1  
spawns Typhoon. The other is called Mystic Crystal which will spawn a random  
monster out of all possible ones. And of course you can spawn a boss for  
that monster type sometimes.

Perso j'ai arrêté Priston Tale parce que de un les Morions n'avaient pas de quête, et de deux à part repousser des vagues de monstres continues il n'y a rien à y faire. J'ai eu mon compte à Diablo2, maintenant je recherche autre chose quand je vais jouer à un mmog.

Ya des quêtes , mais pas à tout les niveaux^^.  Moi j'y joue de temps en temps pour passer le temps , parce que Daoc c'est un peu lassant quand on y joue trop

J'avais trouvé ça d'une nullité affligeante Priston Tale .
 
Le point qui a tout achevé : un patch s'est un jour permis de couper zonealarm au lancement pour le relancer après , parce que c'était un "programme tiers" . Priston Tale était effacé à peu près 8 minutes après .

Oui , mais malheureusement , Biosfear est maintenant payant , et je trouves pas que sa vale la peine de payer pour... surtout que je devrais demander à ma mère pour payer par carte de banque... elle aimerait pas trop
Vous avez pas un autre bon mmorpg gratuit avec des graphiques dans le genre?

Je suis actuellement en train de télécharger Ryzom sur Fileplanet. On verra ce que ça donne mais il paraît que graphiquement il est très très sympa et très fun.

Ca fait quelques mois que j'ai laché Priston Tale (ennuis à haut level et que des donjons a faire) De plus un mal fou à trouver mon equipement recherché pour level 47. (car et oui je suis lvl47...) J'ai une pretresse (la meilleur class jtrouv)
Bref, ca vo pa un bon Ragnarok Online..

Si tu pouvais demander à ton ami pourquoi, pour l'instant, la seule Beta disponible cherche systématiquement à se décompresser sur mon disque C: - sur lequel il n'y a évidemment pas 900 mg de place disponible - ... Parce que bon, Ryzom, ça serait bien que j'arrive un jour à l'essayer

Faudrait d'ailleurs que je pense à le tester, c'est pas tout de le DL, mais faudrait ptet' que j'y joue (j'ai actuellement un splendide crafteur fyros lvl1 qui n'attends plus que je lui concerne un peu de temps ). Mais bon, dès que c'est un peu trop en anglais dans les quètes, je suis perdu .

J'ai trouvé la réponse, mais pas sur le forum officiel complétement désert (plutot sur Mondes persistants).
 
En fait il fallait déplacer la destination des fichiers temporaires de mon OS. Ça me servira par la suite pour d'autre truc.
 
Bon ben j'ai commencé à y jouer mais il faisait nuit et donc on voyait rien ! J'ai bon à re-tester demain.

ca m'a l'air trés bien rysom, pour un premier mmorpg c'est bien vous penser ?

De ce que j'en ai vu (j'ai du jouer 2 heures) , l'interface est à chier , on met plusieurs dizaines de minutes avant de comprendre qu'on a pas de sort offensif appris donc qu'il faut s'entrainer à la magie en se soignant pour xp en magie donc se train dans un sort offensif . Le craft est répétitf (comme d'hab) mais il faut refaire la pléthore de menus pour chaque item , c'est lourd . La prospection ça prend 15 ans et pareil , avant d'avoir le sort de recherche de trucs dans les sol faudra miné sur des trucs découverts par d'autres comme un enfoiré pour monter sa skill Harvest .
 
Les marchands ne vendent strictement rien et tout s'achète aux crafters visiblement , et rien que sur les monstres lvl 1 On peut se faire 500 golds / kill donc les sous sont un peu unbalanced .
 
 
Sinon le reste d'interface est mal pensée , très peu intuitive et peu pratique . Point de vue graphisme c'est assez joli , niveau jouabilité bof , et l'intêret pour le moment est très moyen .

j'ai un probleme avec priston tale !
quand je veux m'inscrire sur leur site, j'agree la liscence et paf sa m'envoye à la page d'acceuil !
c'est parce qu'il y a une maintenant pour l'"extension" ou alors c'est moi qui bug ?
 
 
A part sa Slayers Online PaWeRs xD

En fait il faut pexer jusqu'au lvl 20 (vite atteint) puis se téléporter dans la capitale pour que le jeu commence vraiment. Là-bas tu pourras trouver des armes dix à vingt fois plus chères. Par contre depuis le dernier patch c'est rempli de nouveaux bugs.

Sinon j'ai vu qu'ils ont patché le prix des trucs droppés par les mobs lvl 1 , ils se vendent plus 200 mais 10 golds (dommage )

Oui il faut être 20 en quelque chose. Puis là tu peux quitter l'île des newbs en commençant par parler à un Welcomer.

bon quelqun peut me dire comment il à procédé pour s'inscrire sur le site de priston tale ???
parce que je lis le text, j'agree, je clique sur next et sa me renvoye sur la page de départ (eng.pristontale.com)

Tu ferais peut-être mieux d'essayer sur le forum du site officiel parceque moi je ne vois pas trop , essais peut-être de mettre à jour ton internet explorer , sinon je vois pas trop ce que sa pourrais être.
